“Eduardo is a Mexican American photographer whose work focuses on the culture and human moments within American soccer. Raised in southern Mississippi, he began documenting the sport as a way to stay connected to the communities and traditions that shaped his life. Balancing his photography practice with work in the restaurant industry, Villalobos regularly travels across the southern United States—including to matches in Nashville and Houston—to photograph the game. Amongst many memorable moments he’s been a part of, most notably, he served as one of the team photographers for Nashville SC (MLS) during the 2025 Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup final.”

Since then, I’ve quit my job, and I've been freelancing (attempting to) full-time now.
